Exams ITIL® version 3

Currently EXIN offers a version 3 Foundation exam in several languages. The complete selection of Intermediate level exams (Lifecycle and Capability examinations) became available in January 2009.

In order to be able to particpate at the Intermediate level, you must have first earned an ITIL® V3 Foundation certificate, or the ITIL® V2 Foundation certificate in combination with the ITIL® V3 Foundation Bridge or ITIL® V3 Managers Bridge certificate.

Transferring from version 2 to version 3
A V3 Bridge examination is now available to enable you to transfer from version 2 Foundation to version 3 Foundation. Do you want to transfer from V2 to V3 and have you obtained the ITIL® Foundation version 2 certificate? In that case you can participate in the V3 Bridge examinations available in several languages. 

The Manager's Bridge exam, which enables you to transfer to the ITIL® version 3 certification program, is also available for candidates who are already certified for ITIL® Service Manager (or for candidates who have obtained at least twelve credits based on Practitioner certificates).

Please note that participating in an accredited training course is mandatory before registering for an ITIL V3 Bridge exam.

Path to ITIL Expert
ITIL Expert can be achieved by earning at least 17 credits across a broad range of ITIL qualifications, and participating in the Managing Across the Lifecycle course. Managing Across the Lifecycle can be seen as the ‘glue’ which holds the ITIL modules together. The exam tests a candidate's ability to apply the concepts learnt at the Intermediate level across the whole Service Lifecycle. The Credit Profiler can be used to chart your progress through the ITIL® V3 scheme. 

Qualification Scheme
